Pray for rain March 2025

Maziwa crops drought March 25
The whole of Kondoa Diocese joined with friends from around the world, in the US, New Zealand and the UK, to pray together for rain on Monday 3 March 2025.  PLease do continue to pray.

The seeds that had been planted in the short rainy season, November to January, need the long rainy season, due now, to be able to grow on and be harvested.

There is no sign of rain yet and already many of the crops are starting to die.

Bishop Given asks us all: "would you please kindly pray for the rain to come as no rain means no life for us! Water is life! Pray, pray, pray for the rain to come! Imagine what will happen to people if the crops will all die!"

Let us pray for good rain, as we know from experience that too much can be as damaging as too little. Please pray for our family in Kondoa to have sufficient food for the coming year.

Here are some videos from the wave of prayer on 3 March from Rofati and Chemba parishes.
