Ombiri Parish

Ombiri is one of seventeen parishes in the Diocese taking part in the Church and Community Mobilization Progarrme (CCMP) from 2023-2025. CCMP is a Bible-based, guided training approach that a local church can use with its community to identify the resources they have, then, working together, bring about long-lasting, whole-life change. As local communities work through the process, they decide which activities will bring about the most effective and positive outcomes for them given their current situations.

As the CCMP continues in the parish, the church is seeing spiritual growth through evangelism and prayer, and many young people have joined the choir. Church members purchased these speakers to attract new people into the church to learn about the gospel message. The picture below shows the church at a meeting with other denominations, discussing how they can work together on community-based development initiatives to improve society.
