Gwandi Parish
The Parish
The pastor is Rev. Abnery Jumbe. There are four churches in the parish, at Gwandi, Gidei, Kimbogolo and Majengo.

Community development
The parish took part in the Church and Community Mobilization Programme (CCMP) from 2022 to 2025. The CCMP is funded by St James Church in the UK Diocese of Rochester. Seventeen parishes have taken part since 2018 and nine new parishes are participating in the training and education from 2026 to 2028.
The CCMP process has brought spiritual and physical transformation to the church and community at Gwandi and Christians are actively involved in development activities. Church members improved their building by plastering walls, installing electricity, and laying new floors. They also bought 36 plastic chairs for the church.Two youth choirs raised funds for musical instruments and sound equipment, boosting Sunday service attendance. Additionally, the church planted 2.5 acres of cassava.
The church and community has formed three savings and loan groups (Ufunuo, Juhudi, and Mshikamano) that support small business enterprises.
