The Parish
The pastor is Rev. Abnery Jumbe. There are four churches in the parish, at Gwandi, Gidei, Kimbogolo and Majengo.

Community development
The parish is one of seventeen taking part in the Church and Community Mobilization Programme (CCMP). The CCMP is a Bible-based, guided training approach that local churches are using with their communities. They identify the resources they have, then work together, to bring about long-lasting, whole-life change. The CCMP is funded by St James Church in the UK Diocese of Rochester.
The CCMP process has brought spiritual and physical transformation to the church and community at Gwandi and Christians are actively involved in development activities. Church members have improved their building by plastering walls, installing electricity, and laying new floors. They also bought 36 plastic chairs for the church.Two youth choirs raised funds for musical instruments and sound equipment, boosting Sunday service attendance. Additionally, the church planted 2.5 acres of cassava and formed three savings and loan groups (Ufunuo, Juhudi, and Mshikamano) that support small business enterprises.
