The Parish

The pastor is Rev. Wilson Saki, pictured below in front of the sugar cane being grown as a food mitigation measure for the church.

There are two churches in the parish including Mrijo and Samwino.
The three catechists include:
St Paul's - Cat: Stephano Makonha 

St Peter's - Cat: John S Mkwayi The parish experienced severe flooding in 2008.  Since then, the parish has planted flood-tolerant sugar cane, near to the church for flood resilience. These pictures of the crop were taken in April 2024.
