The Pastor and Area Dean is Rev. Canon Richard Suki, There are are six churches in the parish at Maziwa, Malamanda, Konato, Kunisee, Dalai and Mnalase.

Community Development
From 2026 to 2028 Maziwa will be taking part in the Church and Community Mobilizatio Programme (CCMP) along with another eight parishes. St James Church in the Diocese of Rochester, UK has funded seventeen churches to take part from 2018 to 2025. The training and education is delivered by the Department of Development at Head Office through a series of workshops.
Three facilitators from Maziwa will take part in training that includes Bible studies, community relationship building, resource mobilization, the formation and management of savings and loan groups, data collection, analysis and decision-making, climate-smart agriculture and environmental awareness, As the church and community work through this process together, they will decide which development activities will be the most effective in their local situation.
