Tarkwa Parish

The parish church is The Church of the Good Samaritan. 

The Parish

The Pastor and Area Dean is Rev. Amos Mataluma. There are two churches in the parish, at Tarkwa and Jogoro, and the catechist at Jogoro is Daudi Japheti.

The parish of Tarkwa is on the western edge of the Diocese of Kondoa. There is a large Christian population there and it many consists of the Wagogo, Wanyaturu and Wasandawe tribes. The area is largely forested and people farm the land and keep livestock.
