We are a Christ Centred missionary diocese, sustainably transforming the community.  Our mission is to promote holistic mission growth and development of the church through dynamic services.  

We are a unique Diocese in Tanzania because in most Dioceses, the church has been here for more than 100 years.  In Kondoa the church is only 30 years old doing its mission among a majority of Muslims (around 87 percent of the population of 700,000. are Muslims).  This makes the mission of the church exciting because it provides an opportunity for the church to address its mission holistically.  It is only through holistic gospel that the Christian message can be relevant to the people of this land. This is when the gospel is shown in people's lives through the programmes that the church offers, and you will explore this through visiting this website.

The main mission of the Anglican Missionary Diocese of Kondoa is to enable those we encounter in our lives to know Jesus, to love him and, through faith, commit their lives to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. 

In this way people will be able to worship him and experience his power as Lord.  They can follow and serve Jesus through the church.  Our holistic mission takes seriously: Mission, Evangelism, Church planting and Spiritual growth; preparing future leaders of the Church.  

Our Bible College enables our ministers to preach and teach the whole counsel of God, so that they are able to do discipleship and apologetics.  

Also, Social Welfare, such as education and economic social transformation, in order to eradicate poverty through a Church and Community Mobilisation process in the community and women empowerment.  We believe this can come only through the power of gospel preached, taught, and demonstrated in actions.  You can see this in our website through the programmes that make the gospel relevant into the lives of our people.

We are requesting all our mission partners firstly to pray for us and secondly, if they can, to join us in fulfilling our vision by supporting one of our programmes, to make our dreams become a reality. This will make the gospel relevant in the lives of our people and enable the church to continue growing in Kondoa.
