At the heart of Kondoa Diocese is the Cathedral of St Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles, and the parish church for Kondoa Town, the Church of the Good Shepherd. The people and clergy gather to hear the voice of their shepherd, the Bishop of Kondoa. John's Gospel reminds them 'My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they follow me' (Jn 10.27).

Church and Community Mobilization Programme.

There are thirteen churches in the Diocese taking part in the Church and Community Mobilisation Programme (CCMP).The CCMP is a Bible-based, guided training approach that a local church can use with its community to identify the resources they have, then, working together, bring about long-lasting, whole-life change. It's a process that first envisions a church to integral mission theology and then empowers church members to live out their faith in a holistic way, responding to the needs of the local community.

In February 2023, the Cathedral and the Church of the Good Shepherd started the three-year programme. They are adapting the process to suit the needs of the town, versus a rural setting, and say they have already seen the fruits of what they have learned.
