Prayer requests January 2022 

Clergy retreat 14 Jan 22 (5)
Bishop Given asks for prayers for:

  • The clergy retreat on Friday 14 January, being lead by Bishop Dickson from the Diocese of Central Tanganyika.  Please also pray for safe travels for the clergy to and from their home villages.
 
  • The enthronement service for the new sub dean of the Cathedral this Sunday (16th).  He is Rev Canon Dickson Llyoba who was previously teaching at St Philips Theological College, Kongwa.
 
  • The plastering of the Cathedral which is taking place.
 
  • For the Bishops’ Retreat next week (Monday to Thursday) in Dar es Salaam. 
 
  • For Ihewa, Bishop Given and Lilian’s eldest daughter who is currently doing her internship at Ikonda Roman Catholic hospital in Njombe but will soon be seeking her permanent job as a newly trained doctor.
